FTSO AU Public Beta - Wrap/Unwrap & Delegate

While I think most people are going to find it easier to just wrap and vote right within Bifrost, I found your site really easy to use.

One small tip if you're on mobile, you can't use your regular web browser, the wallet connection doesn't work yet. You have to use the web browser within your MetaMask app.

Maybe easier from Bifrost, but unless they support hardware ledger I won't use it. So this is a great option for metamask + hardware ledger users.

Thanks for all your engagement with us :)

JFYI - in case it's not deliberate, but your top-left homepage? icon does not
link to your homepage, but to itself (the wrap page).

Cheers m8 !

It was deliberate. It actually should link to to the Delegation Dashboard where there’s lots of other features but they’re not released yet. Soon though.

I did some wrapping and delegating through the app and MetaMask, very straightforward, thanks! Not only could I wrap the tokens for the account imported to MM by mnemonic, I was able to do it with a second account for which I had the private key. :)

Fantastic, great to know you found it easy!

I’ve created a Tutorial on Wrapping and Unwrapping plus Delegating using our service. Lots of pictures too!

Crikey!    Bloody good doco mate.  Nice to see someone doing a good job of it.

Nice guide, thank you! Is there a gap or lull between the current epoch and the next epoch, where you could reallocate without leaving the current one early or being too late for the coming one?

There did seem to be a bit of whale activity where allocation was suddenly evenly placed across a number of providers.

That does look better now as far as decentralisation,  but it’s slightly concerning that the whales giveth and the whales can take away-eth.  :)

It looks like there is at least a possibility that a major holder could game the price which would open all sorts of lurks with smart contracts.

And as has been discussed before in crypto incidents….   if the code is law and the code allows it…

Not saying this will happen, or even that it CAN happen,  only that it looks like the possibility might exist.   I hope people smarter than me are considering this area of possible gamification.

I don’t understand the need to move, before you’re aware of the results from that provider for that period?

IF changing your delegation comes at a cost of missing a reward period then that’s a factor to consider. I’m not saying that’s the case, but it could be.

I’m urging everyone to wait and see what the results are before switching delegation.

More info will be available soon.
