Josh Edwards also posted it on the Discord channel. I’m thinking this weekend or sooner.

Edit: Discord, not Telegram.

Forgive my ignorance in all this but with the hopefully imminent release of SGB, is there any value to it or is it just for testing purposes for FLR?

Yes it’s real money. All eligible for the airdrop are getting Songbird at 15%. But not at all exchanges are participating so need to check in with that.

Assets have been airdropped. We need to wait for a public RPC node to be set up to access our wallets.

Welcome to Songbird, everyone !!

Ok reading it, we can’t access the tokens just yet but they are expecting us to be able to in the coming days. Also says guides for accessing through wallets will appear in the coming days.

 Let’s go boiiiiisssss!

That’s around 10pm UK time, which suggests not right now.

Edit: Lol I need to just keep quiet

To be fair, we need to wait until at least September 27 before wallets are accessible and a few more days after that for FTSO. Still a big milestone. The path is set and it’s a matter of moving forward on jt

Selfishly, I am happier with this timeline. This pushes Flare to at least November, may be December. That means the first (potentially) taxable airdrop is not until the new year and I’ll have an extra year to figure that out. I think we will get tax clarity in the US much before that, and I don’t have to guess.

This is all great news.
What wallet are people choosing for both airdrops as personal preference so far?

Bifrost Wallet. It should be a full featured Flare/Songbird wallet once it comes out of beta (which I'm guessing will happen any day now). Currently the beta version only works for the XRPL and Ethereum, but I imported my claim address so it's all ready when Songbird is.

I also have my MetaMask wallet set up to connect to Songbird. If you've done DeFi with other wallets, you'll just set it to connect to Songbird instead of Ethereum and use wallet connect to connect to websites and perform transactions.
