brianwalden
If you still have your old computer you were using back in the day, you might have the wallet file with the key encrypted inside it. I think it will be called something like ripple-wallet.txt. If you can find that file, and you have your old password like you said, I think @RobertHarpool might have the software that will let you unencrypt it and get your password out. Good luck. RobertHarpool
Do you have anything else? ... any data file of any type? Do you remember how you accessed the account, or moved XRP to/from it? That far back, you may well have been using Ripple's online portal ... or, perhaps as Brian alludes to, the RippleDesktopClient. Any more memories regardless of how fuzzy?

Any more memories regardless of how fuzzy? Thank you for taking the time. I have been using the website to do transactions and have not used other desktop applications. In 2016, I received an email about the migration notification, but I finally gave up because of the kyc on gatehub. This website https://id.ripple.com/auth/migrate no longer provides the retrieval function, and the account, password, and email I have cannot be recovered. God knows what I did. During the transfer in 2016, I used my old phone to take pictures of the relevant transfer process, but I don’t remember why I didn’t save the relevant important information. Maybe because the transfer was not successful, I just saved the relevant process. .

The old RippleTrade wallet would have given you your secret key when you created the account and would have stressed that you keep it. You don't need to have completed the migration to get your secret key, you would have already had it. All the migration did was import your wallet over to Gatehub. Look everywhere for a secret key, it'll look like a ripple address but start with 's' instead of 'r'. Maybe you took a picture of it? Maybe you wrote it down and put it where you keep documents. Try everything you can think of. jetbrzzz

Will there be a button to download the secret key on the relevant webpage? Maybe I can find it on my old mac computer. If I find it, I will use XRP to share the joy with you

While you were signed in to your wallet, you would have been able to go into your settings and retrieve it at any time. But RippleTrade is long gone now, the government made Ripple shut it down. Thank you, I will take my old computer and mobile phone this weekend and try to restore it to find out if there is any wallet information. Good luck, and I will know if I can get it back. Thank you again for your help.
