Hey GG do you remember Mussolini on the balcony - "I will get the trains running on time" - I see parallels, it didn't end well for the people he represented, the people who voted for him or the world in general and if you don't want to end up like him DON'T ACT LIKE HIM Gary Gensler’s Insane Crypto Policy Edited August 10, 2021 by HAL1000 Julian_Williams and mike91

Julian_Williams
Hester Pierce is showing honesty whilst the organisation she works inside has given no intellectual or regulatory guidance and is governing by fear and corruption. I thought Gensler would want to tackle the problem, but so far he seems to have given no leadership and is becoming another Jay Clayton. I wonder if he has any strategy for his period of tenure. mike91

His policy will be one of a torched earth. Take no prisoners. Collect as much money as possible. Protect legacy institutions at all costs. The only reason the Democrats were the right choice this election was to stop rocking the boat quite so much and to try and center the pendulum a bit by putting a (relative) centrist in the White House. They might inflict enough economic turmoil that my reasoning blows up in smoke.
