Clayton did NOT think every ICO was a security. He and Hinman gave a pass to #ether despite its 2014 ICO. Guess why? Because they profited from giving #ether a pass, and now you're giving them a pass.

Well, OF COURSE Chairman Gensler said that there is regulatory clarity in the crypto world. He doesn't want his speech to be Exhibit "A" to Ripple's motion on its Fair Notice Defense. What else could he say?

Maybe GaryGensler should read HesterPeirce and Elad Roisman’s public statements regarding the SEC’s lack of clarity as it relates to digital assets.

At this point, the SEC are looking like an even bigger bunch of disorganized clowns than they did under JC. IMO, if One River get their ETF approved by GG, then it's time to STORM THE SEC:-

Hey GG see above pic for CLARITY or a class action by those, YOUR agency is supposed to protect or 30,000+ signatures on a petition YOU HAVE IGNORED. To quote Moon Lambo, "ASS HAT".

If after all this ICO talk, ether gets a pass and then as you say One River gets the first ETF, then a petition needs to be made that gets 100k sigs and makes it to the friggin White House.

If this happens, there needs to be a full on social media assault on BTC and ETH - calling them the banker's / government coins. The script will need to be flipped because Ripple still wears that Scarlet letter from the perspective of the general idiots in crypto.

“We need additional Congressional authorities to prevent transactions, products, and platforms from falling between regulatory cracks,” Gensler said in remarks at the Aspen Security Forum Tuesday.

In other words...they don't have the authority or the clarity to justifiably sue Ripple lol. This shit is going to really **** me off if Ripple hasn't had the lobbying power to weasel through these cracks haha

And also we now know Hinman depo did happen, and he did effectively lie.

He didn’t refer to the deposition.

Could all be posturing of course, but I sense Brad's frustration could mean a settlement is not around the corner. They may just be collecting evidence to put in front of a judge at trial.

I think it’s an elaborate strategy to get public’s attention to the lack of clarity. Stuff must be happening behind the scenes.

has that really been confirmed, and has it been sealed and lodged with the court?

after ripple filed to the court that they wanted him deposed, Hinman filed a affidavit to which Brad is referring to in this tweet -- this was before the judge even granted the Hinman Deposition if I remember correctly

we still dont know if the hinman depo took place - if it did (or not), I doubt Brad could comment on it

I´m suprised he is commenting on the affidavit -- wouldnt that be a no go in an ongoing case?

We don’t know, unfortunately. But we will know soon, one way or another.

I’m confident that every tweet from him goes through legal first.
