JASCoder
Thanks Hal. After watching Mrs. Hogan's review of the proposed "crypto text" in the current Bill being hashed out, it does seem highly likely the SEC might be maneuvering to use this new "clarified language" to gracefully exit part - if not all - of the current suit left in the new Admin's lap by the corrupt Jay the corrupt jokester. Easy way to save face, and push all the SEC's skeletons back into the closet eh ? AsYouWere, Julian_Williams and HAL1000
HAL1000
Jeremy Hogan @attorneyjeremy1 Garlinghouse is getting documents from Binance related to his sales of XRP to it. This request goes to our third issue in the case which is "jurisdiction over the sales." SEC cannot disgorge profits to "foreign" entities or individuals. These documents will fight damages. In other words they are trying to reach an agreement about the "total" figure to be written into the setlement docs.

mrmugs
Just a question about the new attorney brought in last week, by looking at her bio, is one of her areas of expertise not in taxes? So in the settlement possibility, gifted xrp to sec, settlement $ amounts, just made me question the timing of adding another lawyer just like the rest of the family. RipMcGillicuddy
You would think Larsen would need to do something along these lines as well right?

Depends on where he sold his tokens. He case needn’t be the same as Brad’s.

Yes, but these two (especially Larsen) have calculated every move seemingly years ahead of time. Obviously Larsen will have his own backup for proof, but it's not like he would've sold in the states.
