Dougy0001
So if you have an uphold account members beware they have this thing going on where they will take the money from your account claiming that the banks never completed the transaction and then act like nothing happened but you're out all the money in your account and if you try to get help they will first answer you, then send it to a specialist, and then forget about you. I've had over $1,000 drained for my accounts and this happened twice. I didn't realize the first time. This time I did so I went and checked out some reviews and about every third or fourth review is a member stating the same exact thing happening so be careful dtpace

thinlyspread
Defi's great and all, but we still need to interact with the main financial system at key points, and without that crypto will ultimately fail anyway. That said, apart from the horrendous UX, I've generally had positive experiences with Uphold. They have botched a few things, like the Cred debacle. I haven't had to go through their support/help channels, so I'm sorry if this is the experience you've had – that really sucks! But then again, it's a new account with only one post, which makes me a bit sceptical. Where are these reviews you've seen? I'd like to check that out. Thanks. thinlyspread
Also look at G-Fam – I personally don't like it, but it does pay you in XRP to post content (that said, Coil charges ~$5/month to use it, so it's really a net loss!).
tricky1
well if it did go thru you will have bank records of transaction, correct?
XRPNewb
I use uphold and have had probably 20 transactions with them and have not as of yet had any issues, this is over the course of about the last 7 months. Not saying I recommend them over any other exchange but I started using them as an outlet to buy XRP in the US when few exchanges would allow it and have found it easy and problem free. JAMES_CHGO
Well Well .... seems UPHOLD exchange may be a scam. Not conclusive yet but pretty close it appears. I put $550 into my account USD a little at a time since I am brand new .... Ben on the BITBOY Youtube Channel recommended UPHOLD Exchange .... anyway ..... I will see when Ben is going to give me my money back... I think he will when he and I talk..... I will reach him and we'll talk ..... anyway .... I then bought a little XRP once and again and everything was okay.... then same for withdrawing from UPHOLD to my nano x .... $30 of XRP and then $30 of XRP ..... then when I withdrew $400 and something a hold on the transaction was placed for review for money laundering (BS).... Then an email was sent to me and it said .... we're sorry but money laundering laws and suspicious activity... we have to close your account we'll refund you your money back to your account in 2-3 days.... this is the gist of it. We'll Ben I need my money. I will keep you posted .... stay away from UPHOLD .... does anyone know a legit exchange to buy XRP today? Thanks for having this site and lets work together .... take a few minutes to post your experiences (good and bad) and we'll all do much better off.
