Flintstone
Flare Finance will airdrop to DFLR to those who are utilising WFLR on the Flare Finance platform. If you are utilising your WFLR outside of Flare Finance, you must check with that particular FTSO or dApp that they will support the DFLR airdrop. So this is saying that if you use your own wallet, the DFLR you receive will be based on the sum of the FLR and WFLR in your wallet at the time of the snapshot? thinlyspread
Interesting, I guess this comes back to whether dapps/wallets are acting as a "Spark dependent application". 13 minutes ago, brianwalden said: So this is saying that if you use your own wallet, the DFLR you receive will be based on the sum of the FLR and WFLR in your wallet at the time of the snapshot? I took it to mean, if you convert (some/all) your FLR to WFLR for use in Flare Finance, that's fine – you don't have to do anything – you get the airdrop as expected. But if you are converting to WFLR for use in some other third-party application (I actually don't know of any? Maybe Probity Vault?) you need to check with the provider to make sure it's still going to be eligible for the drop and not being sold/converted into some other token or derivative in the background. Copy and paste coming up: To utilise FLR for FTSO delegation and using in dApps like Flare Finance, FLR is wrapped and becomes WFLR which is a separate token. There was concern as the DFLR airdrop was to FLR holders and if your FLR tokens were being utilised as WFLR at the time of the snapshot, then you would miss out. Flare Finance have announced that they will airdrop DFLR to those who are utilising their FLR (WFLR) on the Flare Finance platform at the time of the snapshot. If your WFLR are being utilised outside of Flare Finance, then you need to check with that particular platform or FTSO provider that they will support the airdrop to WFLR holders. If not, then you will need to stop delegating before the snapshot/airdrop so your tokens are FLR at that point in time. https://youtu.be/RtBvSvBJdsE JASCoder
Guest
If someone wants to be safe, they just need to make sure all of their WFLR is delegated to Flare Finance for the duration of those few days when there is a DFLR and reset to original state once the airdrop is done. Obviously the other providers know this and that this will result in a sudden change of liquidity around this event, so are likely to support redistribution of DFLR. Taken into account the hesitation of exchanges to distribute SGB, better to start the request process for DFLR early!! Seoulite

Does it even make sense for an exchange to make a market for DFLR ? Seoulite

Well, I can’t see many people using exchanges for airdrops in the future, that’s for sure.

Maybe something to do with the APY Cloud, but not entirely sure. I know FF want to launch to some degree once the Flare Network is live. There was talk of a DFLR IOU before too, so may see that at some point.
