hsc
In CMC, the circulation amount of XRP decreased from 45b to 35b, that drives total MC from 70b to 55b. What happened? PlanK

Triceratops
Is it possible that these sites removed the holdings of ripple, jed and other related workers? This must come close to 10b in XRP? On Coindesk we are at 160b https://www.coindesk.com/price/xrp Edited May 7, 2021 by Triceratops

PlanK
^^ Yes. Maybe you're wondering if a cone with it's own inbuilt DEX and stupidly low transaction fees could be a threat to an exchange? Edited May 7, 2021 by PlanK Wolfparty

Triceratops
If this is true, how is this possible?? This has to be done intentionally, how else would the suddenly pull the oldest data instead of the current data?

Regarding coindesk, it seems they calculate marketcap as Total supply x Current price (not Circulating supply x Current price) BTW - Total XRP Distributed 46 030 731 641 (as of April 25th, 2021) source: https://ripple.com/xrp/market-performance/

RipMcGillicuddy
So coinbase and I assume some others say the same now too. Crazy stuff. I hope Polysign + Ripple eat all of these exchanges alive. Julian_Williams
efFofexX
I wrote off the CMC numbers shortly after seeing it this morning, given their record of XRP shenanigans. However, now I see that XRP Stats is also showing roughly the same number. @Wietse can you help us understand how the numbers changed this much? Looking at your page on Escrow stats, it doesn't seem like an additional 10-11 billion XRP have been locked up recently. Edit: idk how to tag users on the forum Ok I got the tag thing figured out, but I see that I was misunderstanding how XRP Stats was presenting the data. False alarm.
