HAL1000
Reading through the above link, IMO - it seems the SEC - UPHOLDERS OF JUSTICE AND AN AGENCY TASKED WITH INVESTOR PROTECTION was led by a bunch of self enriching, undeniably criminal opportunists, who couldn't care less about investors only their own pockets. I bet the people at the top won't care about any of this, and it will be just another one of those things, THEY get away with. Just like gamestop and wallst bets, the Whitehouse pays attention when their friends in high finance lose, but if it had been the other way around, they would be drinking champagne and patting themselves on the back for having got rich once again Wall Street style of the backs of the little people! As a teacher of history how can you not be cynical of the US government, how many examples do you need! Watergate, endless wars, Afghanistan, Vietnam, Korea, Iraq, Iran Contra, WMD, Abu Ghraib torture and prisoner abuse, extraordinary rendition, tip of the iceberg, as a US History/Political Science teacher, I would suggest starting with:- Xrpdude

I wish the media would catch on. It is a story of national importance for the US, and especially unsettling that this infiltration/interference by the Chinese into American regulatory authorities is properly investigated, exposed and punished. Julian_Williams
Quote I am going to grant in large part the defendant's motion. I think discovery related to Bitcoin and Ether is relevant. I think it is relevant to the Court's eventual analysis with respect to the Howey factors...I also think it is relevant to the fair notice defence Ripple is raising BentCopper and HAL1000

RobertHarpool
@HAL1000 The matters you referenced ... and many, many more like them ... are great justifications for skepticism, but not cynicism .. Edited May 3, 2021 by RobertHarpool
