karlomero
I have some xrp in a riple desktop wallet 1.4.1 which is no longer supported. I have the key and address but I can only access the wallet in read only mode. How can I withdraw my XRP? By the way, my technical understanding of crypto technology is very basic beginner. Thank you in advance for your help. Edited April 14, 2021 by karlomero

Thank you in advance for your help. If you have the secret key beginning with 's', import it to Xumm wallet for Android or iOS using the guide in the Problem Solving section here. You don't need to create a new wallet. Edited April 14, 2021 by PunishmentOfLuxury pucksterpete

Kiir
And delete the amount you have, no need to be a(n even bigger) target for no reason. karlomero

You mean delete the number of xrp from the original post so that the number of xrp that the poster holds is still a secret?

Yeah. I know it doesn't change that much but it may help if anyone googles things like that. I have no idea how potential criminals do it but I have a feeling seeing a number can make one greedy even more. So, yeah, while we're all targets even if we don't admit of holding anything, perhaps we're a bit safer if we don't post exact numbers, or any numbers for that matter. EDIT: I just realized @PunishmentOfLuxury quoted OP, so it would be cool if he did that as well, otherwise it's irrelevant EDIT 2: Hell, once you solve the problem, just delete the whole topic, tbh Edited April 14, 2021 by Kiir karlomero and PunishmentOfLuxury

You don't actually need a wallet. You need to keep the key safe Triceratops and Global
