Trading XRP on Coinbase while suspension

I just want to understand why we cant sell xrp, knowing about Their case? the info i read is confusing. Some say you can sell some say you cant?

To answer your question "Why can't we sell XRP on Coinbase?" ... it's because they're idiots. 

 

But, if you were really after clarification of who can and can't do what, this should help: 

Coinbase halted all XRP trading regardless of citizenship.

Americans can directly sell XRP for USD at an exchanges like Uphold.

Americans can also trade XRP for other crypto or stable coins at exchanges like Bitrue or Coinloan ... and then move that other coin to Coinbase to sell. 

I hope that clarifies things for you.

Thanks for that. My brain got muddled with some other exchanges like Crypto.com and Kraken. 

I'll edit my post to minimize confusion for future visitors to this thread.
