Wizardly
Hello, I'm new to Crypto and have been signing up to a bunch of the various platforms and exchanges. The only one I've had the ability to purchase XRP on is Bitrue but the Bitrue list price for XRP is 0.71 ish currently and every other exchange has it trading / selling for 0.51 ish. This is the same whether you purchase directly on Bitrue via debit card or transfer another coin and convert it to XRP. (unless I'm somehow really screwing it up or missing something) Aside from Bitrue, it appears Uphold will allow direct purchase of XRP at the regular list price but they've been "verifying" my account for well over a month. It seems I can run a transaction via debit card for USD to XRP but I've been coming across several reports of Uphold placing extremely long holds on deposits. I'm assuming this will be even more likely since I'm "under review" even though literally all other major exchanged has processed my accounts almost instantly. I know the question of "where can I buy XRP as US citizen" has been answered but several comment's solutions from Jan/Feb no longer appear to be valid. Wondering if anyone would be willing to offer some advice that's more up to date. A fair amount of googling has just brought me to outdated work arounds. Thanks for your time, appreciate it! gamblin310
Where are you getting the .71 figure? XRP is about .54 right now on Bitrue.
Wizardly
New to exchanging coins between each other but everything on the right, regardless of pairing combination shows xrp at 0.70 +. The app and front page show XRP at 0.50 ish but this looks completely different to the uninitiated. Edited March 23, 2021 by Wizardly
brianwalden
That looks like a chart for XLM (Stellar Lumens) and XRP.
gamblin310
That's the XLM / XRP chart. You need to look at the USD chart for XRP. Click USDT, then click XRP/USDT Wizardly

I got instantly accepted at Uphold. With that said, I had to send them an email so they would finally ask me for proof of employment and the like but they still only allowed for $10k deposits per year. Pretty crappy if you ask me. I maxed out the account there but the way things are looking, coinbase and bitstamp might just relist not too far into the future.
