It's kind of crazy that the people who label themselves as liberal and progressive are against letting people choose whatever new type of currency they want. At least the Republicans have the excuse of being nominally conservative. I'm not trying to call any party good or bad, just observing how there are no principles in politics - it's all Byzantine intrigue.
