Hi guys, as I said in my proposal post I think we need a place for specific Flare discussion, since there is so much to say and there will be more and more to say as time goes on.

I imagine this club covering every aspect of the Flare Network: technicals, airdrop info, token price speculation. Also all the same aspects of Flare Finance. This club could also include any discussion about F-assets, and any new assets that are added to the network or any other projects that join the Flare Network (e.g. Gala Games). 

I know some of us in XRP chat are more bullish on FLR than others, but that doesn't matter. This is not a hype club. I hope it becomes a place where people can discuss what's going on, speculate about the future, and where people can easily come to find the info they want about airdrops, distribution schedules, etc.

I’m new to everything pretty much. My question pertains to the XRP snapshot/flare airdrop. I had XRP on Coinbase 12 December for the snapshot. Not CB Pro, just plain old Coinbase. Will Flare automatically be posted to my Coinbase account in June or is there anything that I am personally supposed to do prior to 11 June? Were notifications sent as in, “We show you are eligible for the airdrop, etc etc“? Or is this just going to happen without anything other than the the fact I had XRP at the time and Coinbase participated? Thanks for any clarification

I don’t know specifically about coinbase and whether they have sent notifications about the token or not. You would need to contact them. However as far as I know you don’t need to do anything if you had your tokens on a participating exchange. I imagine every exchange will do the same thing: create a FLR wallet, and give you 15% on day one and 3% a month after that according to the distribution schedule.

 Your last question is right I think. You had xrp on the exchange, snapshot was done, coinbase does the rest. We are still months out from the launch so I’m sure more information will come out the closer we get.

I’m guessing this will get pretty popular pretty quick once the airdrop starts distributing. Looking forward to seeing what we can do with this once it’s released 👌👍

I was thinking of writing an FAQ, but I don't know a lot of the technical details. I will write something up and then if you guys think anything big needs to be changed or added we can change it.
