brianwalden
I know XLM's market cap is way lower because they burned half of it. But man, did anyone else get free XLM back when stellar first launched? I did but sold all but a hundred or two for XRP back then.

thinlyspread
Here's another related question... will XLM be one of the next/upcoming supported Flare assets? Might split the community, this one! Especially seeing as how Jed's wallets were blocked from the Spark distro. Yet... the XLM ledger (or whatever they call it) is probably still more similar to the XRPL functionality, despite the consensus changes, and so I wonder if compatibility is easier to implement than a new blockchain? Roux
XLM passed XRP a few weeks ago, if only for a day. It will probably happen again.

I think Stellar makes sense. If you notice they chose coins with low transaction fees because I think that just makes sense for their goal of connecting all the various ledgers through Flare. It's also a big enough coin, but not a huge market cap. I think they're purposely waiting before they try to tackle Bitcoin and Ethereum. The network has to pull a lot of value in before it can accommodate those coins.
Malloy
Maybe yes short term with the Ripple vs SEC turmoil...but no long term Has anyone tried XLM DEX? You'll understand why they have no chance right now.
RobertHarpool
...and another question ... What is Stellar's equivalent to ODL? especially in light of Ripple's recent acquisition of an ODL patent ... How far could Stellar possibly roll without infringement?
