retep
Now that xrp is moving again, i might want to sell high and later buy back low, but i have my xrp parked on gatehub so when i want to sell there, then i have to take a huge loss because when xrp is 0,48 on cmc, then it's 0,40 on gatehub, so that's a huge difference and not worth it. So does anyone know why gatehub sucks hard on this matter? Now it's great when you want to buy xrp on gatehub but not selling imo. jn_r
When you trade on Gatehub you basically trade on XRPL. And there you will find that not all IOU's are the same. You could choose orderbook XRP/Gatehub.USD (https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/markets/XRP/USD:rhub8VRN55s94qWKDv6jmDy1pUykJzF3wq?interval=5m&range=1d&type=line) But you could also choose orderbook XRP/Bitstamp.USD (https://xrpcharts.ripple.com/#/markets/XRP/USD:rvYAfWj5gh67oV6fW32ZzP3Aw4Eubs59B?interval=5m&range=1d&type=line) The last one seems more in line with market price. If you go out and in it shouldn't matter much btw which one you chose. But you should also look at the orderbook depth and how much your potential order would put the price forth or back. btw you are not the real mr cactus are you? jargoman
You telling us there is a huge price difference is telling us there is profit to be made arbitraging.

That is not so easy with Gatehub.USD, at least not for a European. What I remember there has often been a difference in price. So you could profit doing arbitrage between Bitstamp and Gatehub, but in this case you must already have the Gatehub.USD. And that's the problem, you can not get it for normal price. sometimes these things are also a waiting game. Prepare by acquiring Gatehub.USD and then wait until the arbitrage is so big you make the trade.
