But the thing is I haven't done anything with that ripple. The most I've done is enter how much I plan on exchanging when my funds arrive so I can see what I'd be getting. But nothing has ever been executed on my end.

Adding for anyone else who stops by. EVERY transaction costs XRP. So if you simply create an offer to buy XRP then it costs some XRP. If you establish a trust line it costs XRP. This is to prevent someone from essentially sowing the network by sending high frequency transactions to the network for free. So if you've done anything with you're account that gets registered by the ripple network you've spent some small amount of xrp to do so.

So I'm new to this and I also see that my XRP wallet is decreasing over time.  I deposited the initial 20 XRP to enable the wallet but it showed up as 19.99... and then I noticed it decreasing.  I then bought some XRP and noticed the final amount in my wallet is decreasing over time.  I saw you guys say that there is transaction fee, but that already took out during the transaction.  So why is my wallet keep decreasing in small amount and would it ever stop?

Any transaction submitted to the network costs XRP. This includes offer create, offer cancel, establishing trustlines etc. Any action that alters the state of the ledger costs XRP. This prevents spam attacks because, especially with dynamic fees, spammers would find it very expensive to overload the network with useless transactions.

So is this because I established a trustline with Gatehub-Fifth for ETH and GateHub for USD storage?--I don't mind the decrease for initial trustline, but it keeps on decreasing overtime.  If this keeps up then my XRP eventually going to zero.

So is the only way to keep XRP from decreasing is to delete the trustlines and then re-enable the trustline when I want to start trading again?

Or is it that I can keep the trustline in my Wallet list and the XRP would only decrease when I do "Connect a Gateway"?

GateHub for USD storage trustline cost XRP as well as GateHub-Fifth for ETH storage?
