As a UK customer, will the delisting affect my ability to trade XRP?

Hello,

It's been a while since I've posted on here so apologies if I'm repeating anything.

But as a UK customer will I still be able to purchase XRP from main exchanges like coinbase? (Once they all delist)

It maybe a good idea to start a post containing places you are still able to purchase from.

Thanks

With coinbase, no.  Other exchanges it depends.  Some have de-listed for only US customers and others have delisted for everyone.

Kraken is not delisting, but they are suspending trading (Jan 29th I think). So you may still hold there and move your xrp from there but you cannot trade with it.

Well then my terminology was wrong.

Where am I able to continue trading XRP? Most UK exchanges?

if Coinbase and Kraken and other US exchanges halt trading, there are many US exchanges you can select as Bitrex etc. You are a UK customer.

So Recommend : http://cex.io   which is a longtime XRP exchange in the UK and USA

Also Poloniex.com and binance.com have longtime experience selling and buying XRP .

Maybe Binance .com suspended trading XRP in the US but you can buy XRP outside the US at Binance.

I really grown to like Bitrue.  I would use the OG Binance if we still could.  Not sure if they banned all US customers but I was able to get on this past summer using VPN. Also isn't Kraken and CB just halting for US customers only? SHould still be available for non US  customers.

Kraken to Halt XRP Trading for U.S. Residents Clients outside the US are not affected:

Quote

Given the recent SEC filing against Ripple Labs Inc., we are halting XRP trading for U.S. residents no later than January 29, 2021 at 5pm PT (January 30, 2021 at 1:00 UTC). We may begin implementing this process at any time on January 29, 2021, so all U.S. clients are strongly encouraged to resolve their positions prior to that day.

U.S. residents with open XRP spot positions on margin should satisfy their margin obligations by January 28, 2021 at 11:59pm PT or their positions will be liquidated in accordance with our Terms.

Our clients residing in the U.S. will still be able to deposit, hold, and withdraw XRP with Kraken.

Clients residing in other countries are not affected. XRP markets will continue to operate, uninterrupted, for clients outside the United States.
