Do you still think bithomp is a viable option? Ending technical support can lead to a dead wallet in future. I sometime wonder why these paper wallets pull the plug? And, why there are so few options?

Yes, for the time being. If there are features you need in the future, you can just import your secret key to a more modern wallet.

I think Wietse was looking into an offline mode for XUMM and I think XRPTOOLKIT was too.

But for now, Bithomp Tools is probably the best offline wallet.
