what if ripple said to Tetragon, please start a lawsuit against us so that we can use this to demonstrate the damage caused to our company by the sec law suit

I've been thinking similarly and it doesn't sound too ridiculous to me. Having a case like Tetragon's looming over an outcome of the SEC trial.. I dunno.. There is a lot of money at stake here and it seems a cost-effective way to drive home the significance of the verdict of the SEC matter.

In Ripple’s Series C investment agreement, there is a provision that if XRP is deemed to be a security on a go forward basis, then Tetragon has the option of having Ripple redeem their Ripple equity. Since there has been no such determination, this lawsuit has no merit. We are disappointed that Tetragon is seeking to unfairly take advantage of the lack of regulatory clarity here in the U.S. The courts will provide this clarity and we are very confident in our position.

TBF, they have a point.

Tetragon: "Give us our money back when XRP is deemed a security!!!"
Ripple: "Fine, but it hasn't been deemed a security, so you have no basis."

Tetragon: "SEC, make XRP a security!!!"

SEC: "They're right, we haven't deemed it a security yet."

Tetragon: "Waaaaaaaaaa...baby doesn't wannna waitttt, we want it nowwwww."

Have you ever been to a board meeting? Your understanding is lacking to say the least.

I wonder where Hodor is now. Either he was a Ripple's employee as many suspected or knew somehow all this was coming and that's why he went silent. This applies to other xrpchat heroes.

More repulsive behaviours.

I've said this all along that how can someone spend all their time creating blogs for this forum - it's a full time job on its own.

I'm quite sure Hodor along with some other previously active members of this forum are now sat enjoying life on a private island having raked in a fortune for Brad and Co.

You are probably right. I was always sceptical and critical to this extreme positivism towards Ripple. I was many times accused of fudding and whining.

It does seem premature to me at least.  I would at least hear Ripple’s defense.

If Ripple comes back from this successfully, Tetragon may regret this move.

Unfortunately Ripple’s defence is a broken record to which they have been playing the same tune for 9 years. It doesn’t get them anywhere. I should have known from the get go when they struggled to get their website online that was a warning flag. Aside from window washers is there anyone still left at the company? My heart goes out to all those American investors who used their hard earned money to buy into the Ripple XRP dream only to have their funds devalued & seized.Shouldn’t have dodged the Doge. Maybe they should let Snoop Dogg run the show it definitely couldn’t get any worse. We definitely could use the dog pound in the house don’t ya think?  Drop it like it’s hot!
