Hello there ,

Sorry i am new to the xrpchat community, i have a question here regarding the airdrop on Dec 12th as i have xrp in my ledger nano s and i have not done anything on the snapshot dates by using xrptoolkit prodvided by WiestWind as i am out of town and just heard about the airdrop thing from my friend who hold xrp since then. Do i still eligible to claim my spark token after the snapshot date despite that i been holding my xrp in my ledger nano s since months ago before Dec 12?

Would much appreciate if someone here could explain it to me or guide me through.

Thank you very much in advance.

Yes.  As is mentioned in the faq and dozens of times in this thread.

The price has taken off, it was much lower a couple of weeks ago. You missed it. It may creep up a little on Friday but it's mostly priced in already.

If you are buying now, prepare to dump just after midnight on Saturday.

How after 41 years of investing and constantly refusing to go anywhere near crypto I suddenly got ramped into the XRP nonsense I really dont know

Fuming at my own idiocy I really am

I was a longtime holder but didnt take my xrp off my wallet to move it to cbase. Like an Idiot, I sold my xrp on the 23rd because the headlines were freaking me out. Is there any way to still claim my spark tokens??? I mean every transaction is recorded on a block right? In theory, i should be able to figure something out to prove it right?

You should be fine.  Assuming there is a small amount left in wallet to pay the MessageKey set transaction.

For spark token airdrop one should poses xrp on Dec 12. You can sell on Dec 13 and still claim sparks.

Can you elaborate?

For claiming sparks you should  set MessageKey. For MessageKey set transaction you need a small fee. So if you have xrp to pay the fee you can claim the 12. dec snapshot.

Hi, my XRP was in Coinbase at time of snapshot. Unfortunately, I hadn't seen this statement deep in the recesses of Coinbase's help section: "At launch, we anticipate that Spark will be available in all regions with the exception of New York. "

My question; was there still a snapshot taken of my XRP Coinbase New York wallet? And, if so, can I in some magical way still claim the Spark elsewhere?

Yes your XRP are in the snapshot.  Will Coinbase ever release your entitlement?   Only Coinbase can speak to that...

One potential issue I haven't seen addressed: if my XRP were in self-custody on 12/12/20 and I set the XRPL account Message Key before 12 June '21, but I mess it up (eg don't set a valid FLR address) and see I don't receive the 15% of FLR I'm due when the network goes live, can I still correct the Message Key before 12 June and then Flare network will detect the MK change and airdrop 'my' FLR?

I know the last Message Key is what counts, but I'm just wondering if the Flare smart contract will pick up the change?

That ties in to a question I have...   is each months drop sent to the current message key field address or the first claimed address?

in other words can I have it sent to a number of different addresses over time?

If I was designing the smart contract it would be flexible.  Build a list of “message key set correctly” accounts at the start.  Then listen for messagekeyset transactions and update the list as they happen.

But it might not be done that way.

At a guess...   if you “mess it up” then you haven’t actually claimed as yet.

So if you subsequently fix it then that would be a valid claim.

If it’s not proper Flare format it’s not a claim is my guess.
