Hi Gregor,

might be a silly question - if I have EUR in my wallet, can I purchase from the gatehub XRP/USD order book?

i have used polo in the past for XRP purchases and recently signed up with gatehub so i am not very famililar with it.

There are no silly questions ;)
In ripple there is something called a autobridging. Autobridging is bridging order books through XRP to allow easier access to liquidity and promotes the use of XRP as a natural bridge currency. That being said you want to purchase USD with EUR the order will tried to be filled over EUR/XRP XRP/USD as well. I hope I understood the question correctly.

yeah thats what i meant. i only ask because i see alot more in the order book for XRP/USD than for XRP/EUR. so i assumed that i will probably get a better price as there is more offers. but from what you mentioned, it will probably be more expensive to take two hops?

How long does it take to confirm EUR/USD gateways? Mine is pending for 3 days :/

Thanks in advance.

Hello folks,

Been trying to get this issue resolved with GateHub support, with no help so far :(

I followed the instructions in the tutorials and got USD wired to GateHub. I can see it on my account when I login to GateHub.

But when I go to 'Exchange' tab, I do not see USD in the drop down. Only shows XRP. Am I doing something wrong ?

It should look like the first screenshot on this thread.

Maybe you have two wallets, one hosted wallet and one Ripple wallet? You would then need to move your USD from hosted to Ripple wallet, but not sure that's your issue.

Precisely what I was expecting. But I do not see the USD drop down when I go to Exchange tab as shown in the attached images.

On the Home page, I see Ripple and GateHub under MyWallet. The USD Hosted wallet, I just created to see if it could work that way.

Unfortunately nothing works :(

Please assist !
