Hello everybody ,

Hello 👋

If you have the secret key (s***********) all is well. Keep it safe and do not reveal it.

You can type your associated public key (r**********) into Bithomp Explorer to check your XRP balance.

https://bithomp.com/explorer/

If all is well, you can import your secret key into a wallet. There are many options so will have to do a little research but please ask any questions and keep that secret key secret.

no a ripple tx would have succeeded or failed by now. You can't sign a transaction with your public key only the secret key. You don't need an xrp username only the keypair is needed

public key - r(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) - is your receive address

secret key - s(xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) - is how you sign transactions.

If you have a phone you can import your secret into XUMM app.

You can keep your xrp as a paper wallet until you're ready to spend them, it's much safer. The secret key is very important to keep safe. No one can retrieve your XRP if you lose that key. The secret key will work with any xrp wallet.

You don’t need to register with Bithomp. We were just going to check that you have some XRP in your account.

If you type your public key (r**********) into this box, you should be able to see your balance.5583015C-A9F8-4324-B737-D1ED359F7866.thumb.jpeg.1f30d673a9107869e57f1c42bbf46e0b.jpeg

If you do have XRP in the account, then we can find a wallet. XUMM is a good wallet and can be found on the App Store or Google Play.

So...   in XUMM did you import the wallet using the secret key?  If you did then the wallet will show your balance.

Thanks but we know all about that...  can you advise please if you used the secret key when importing into the Xumm wallet?

Because.  If you did then you will have full access to the wallet.  If it has funds in it then you will see it.

That 20xrp thing is part of the XRPLedger itself...  all XRP wallets require that amount as a reserve to stop spammers from trying to break the ledger by creating millions of wallets.  It’s an anti-spam setting.

So it’s really simple...  just say whether you used you secret key and then we can definitely know the wallet status.
