techman05
It came up on my google news feed of all places and it sent me on a journey to check around. It was not shown up on the xrp actual coin page. Hopefully thats the best option when things come up right? I was hoping for a big red sign that says "its not us" on the page so I could go back to my regular scheduled programing. Thanks for any pointers on the matter

techman05
Is there an actual link to that in the ripple xrp page?

Just to be clear... there are no XRP being airdropped. It’s a new token called Spark on a new chain called Flare. Your title seems to suggest you think there are XRP being airdropped. Search here for Flare Airdrop and you will find lots of info. Its not Ripple doing it so they likely won’t have anything on their pages about it. techman05
I understood about that. I just wanted to make sure it was on the up and up. I had some email from an address I thought was from Stellar about a drop and luckily my browser caught it and stopped me from progressing. I want to be part of something but I don't want to be stabbed in the back by people always trying to find a way to destroy you.

There was a interview yesterday with Brad where Flare airdrop was mentioned... it IS a thing. Not done by Ripple but the Flare team are funded (at least in part?) by the Ripple developer funding team. There are oodles of discussions on here about it... read them and you will be up to speed. techman05

The c.e.o is doing interviews. It's legit. You don't have to risk your XRP. If you're technically proficient it's zero risk. Otherwise there are trustworthy tools to help. I could see spark in the top 20 coins so it's worth signing up for. There's even a second airdrop for spark holders planned which might be sketchy because the developers are anonymous but it seems risk free as well. They will send you erc-20 tokens on the flare network and you redeem them by sending the erc-20 tokens to a smart contract. So buying XRP is 3 coins for 1 right now. techman05, BillyOckham and PunishmentOfLuxury 1
