meh22
Hello, Been racking my head for the past few months trying... Same story different version: I have my XRPL secrete for the Toast Wallet but my passphrase is either unrecognized or it's not the right one. The other thing that I was able to find is a 1kb .file that I saved from the wallet. I don't if there's a use for this xrp wallet .file (when I opened it with notepad saw a string of letters, numbers and a = at the end) Thank you! If you have that then you are fine. You can stick with Toast wallet by installing Toast on another device/pc and importing the wallet. To do that you only need to have the secret key. Alternatively you can work on the same device or pc by deleting Toast and reinstalling it then importing the key. Or if you are uncomfortable with deleting it, you could install a second wallet like XUMM and import the secret to it. meh22

Some wallets like Toast, require both your recovery phrase and your wallet backup (if you made one) to restore a deleted app. This is because Toast didn’t deterministically generate addresses from the recovery phrase. I never liked this about Toast. meh22 and BillyOckham
