SimpleXRPTools 53
Just in case anyone was confused like I was. FLR stands for the Sparks token on the Flare Network. These are the tokens you'll get in December from having XRP. Might be worth hanging on to your Sparks until you can get your share of the DFLR (DAO Flare) tokens. Well using Spark tokens you can generate income by becoming an agent to help generate FXRP Also YFLR is used in DeFi. Hopefullly in a couple of years these tokens will be worth some good value. Meanwhile they can potentially generate regular passive income on the side. Sotong, Cesar1810, jetbrzzz and 1 other 3

strikerjax 658
For people who are not familiar with Defi, follow this video and others from the same channel to get an idea. They talk about Defi on Ethereum. Flr.Finance is bringing something similar to the XRP world using Flare. Gazelle77, JASCoder and Pablo 2
KarmaCoverage 4,181
So there are a couple things going on with Flare Finance. Both Tokens, and Smart Contract services. Tokens... YMIN - used by Flare Mine YFLR- Yield Flare - the main platform token, used by Flare Loans & Flare Mutual. YFIN - Governance token used for voting on amendments Services... Flare X - distributed ODL between FLR = Spark, FXRP, FUSD, & YFLR Flare Farm - staking pool Flare USD - Stable Coin Flare Loans - distributed ODL for lending/borrowing Flare Mutual - some kind of insurance or risk sharing service (similar to KarmaCoverage but not the same financial model) Flare Mine - is a system that enables BTC & ETH miners to pool their mining power and earn YMIN (a mining yield) then there is a smart contract that connects YMIN to either BTC or ETH. The common idea across all these services is a Distributed ODL (DODL) & a pool of resources available to users of that service. I've been talking with them privately. I'm not sure their exact reasoning, but I think it ties into avoiding some legal issues for the time being. The seem legit to me, and one of the guys is going to create an account on this forum, to better engage with the Ripple/XRP community. Sharkey

Got defensive by saying that there are teams which went public with their identities and still scammed. KarmaCoverage

All I can say, is that in my brief interactions with them, they seem genuinely cautious which is fare enough. I said who I am. I gave them a rather detailed once over of Nexus Mutual's whitepaper.
