How many validators are on the UNL?

Recommended Posts

There are 38 validators on Ripple's recommended UNL. You can see them at https://vl.ripple.com (the raw data) and https://livenet.xrpl.org/network/validators (a nice, decoded view).

The xrpcharts website is deprecated and relies on the DataAPI, which has issues that prevent it from tracking validators that use the new manifest-based domain verification at this time.

I hope this helps.

Hi Nik,  could you explain what you mean here please?

I haven’t come across the concept of a website being deprecated.  If code is deprecated then it is generally because it still works but shouldn’t be used because there is a better/less undesirable/more functional unit that can do the same thing but better.  The reason it’s not gone completely is to avoid breaking modules that use it.

I wouldn’t think that’s applicable to a website.  If it’s wrong then pull it down? Or fix it?  Why would one knowingly leave a website that presents incorrect information online?

Not saying this is your responsibility...  just trying to understand what deprecated means in this context,  and why it’s still up if it’s known wrong.  At the least shouldn’t there be clear warning on the page that it’s wrong and a link to a better one?

I don’t understand how a large team can’t achieve that?
