XRP allocation step 4

hoping someone can help as i am green behind the ears with this. I have a small amount of XRP due to me from the allocation and purchased a Nano S ledger wallet to receive it. I set up correctly and can communicate with the ledger live desktop app. When i sign in to prove XRP ownership i can connect to the ripple site. I have the newest version of XRP on my ledger wallet. I get to step 4 where ripple is supposed to send a key and the i whitelist to receive to mmy wallet and nothing happens. I have tried on 3 different browsers and 2 different laptops. Any suggestions?

This is what I was referring to

Ripple seems determined to make a stand. With the launch of its 2020 XRP redistribution program, current owners of XRP will be rewarded for their loyalty toward RippleNet and will receive an amount ranging between 20% and their full XRP balance - we are receiving reports of users getting a 1:1 allocation of their assets.

This is 100% a scam. There is no "redistribution program". Don't send your XRP to these addresses nor give your secret key/24 words anywhere, please.

In fact,  if you have already put your private key in to some site and you are lucky enough that they haven’t as yet stolen your XRP you should move them out of that wallet immediately before they do get around to stealing them.

When Bernie Madoff was sentenced to 150 years in prison I thought that was harsh. After seeing the result of all these scams and hacks in crypto over the years I don't think it is.

If the scammer is reading this. That's what you would be facing if you were caught. Life in prison. And some technically proficient people would love to catch you.

I've thought about trying to hack these scam sites and find the perpetrator. .

No you did do something. You gave a phishing site your credentials. Figure out what information you gave them and take appropriate action before it's too late
