The page it points to look very official when you input it into the browser. A very intelligent way to spoof the official http.

If you hold the cursor on top of it or copy it into the browser it shows ripple.com instead of xn-rippl-n0a.com.

First lesson: if someone offers free stuff, who gives things for free ?

=2 check again!

I won $200 BTC from Crypto.com the other week but took me ages to verify it was actually them, rather than sending something as simple as my signing on email straight away

always be careful!

EDIT: nvm. I know what you mean. They use a character that's very similar so visually it looks like ripple.com while in fact it's a different domain.

Anyway. The moment they start talking about staking you know it's a scam. Same for giveaways. Same for when they ask for private keys.

Friendly warning to other new members, just maybe, possibly. ect 🧐
not everyone is such a smart kitty as you, although they should be..... assuming you are a smart kat?

I personally think these warning threads are absolutely stupid. Who is he warning? This feels and looks like textbook karma farming that everyone does on Reddit, but it's migrated over onto normal internet forums.
