Jed McCaleb is selling based on the agreement between him and Ripple.

The agreement was set up to have minimal effect on the XRP market.

Given Jed left Ripple on bad terms and has no interest in XRP or Ripple, it makes sense that he will aways sell the maximum amount allowed by the agreement.

So is this thread's purpose to rekindle a debate about a moot point?

I basically agree that Jed is an anomaly that needs to be got rid of as quickly as possible.  I just wish it could be arranged that he sell them OTC to some organisation like SBI
