Dear Ripple

Most of the FUDs that claims xrp is the security of Ripple, roots from the misinformation that 'Ripple issued xrp'

"Ripple is not the issuer of xrp, but a large investor."

Ripple needs to promote this phrase widely to the public to reduce the manipulative informations that hurt the business model and the early investors.

Please fight, clarify the misinformation. Help us, xrp community to fight them.

Dear quan,

Absolutely, that’s a great idea! I’ll make that public right away. We appreciate you letting us know about this. Hope you have a wonderful Wednesday and always remember to “Keep On Ripplin’!” TM.

Yours truly,
Matt Ripple

Why don't you go chase the dingo that ate both your xrp and half of your brain?

Before anyone jumps in and starts complaining about personal attacks, remember:

An Aussie with half a brain would be considered very intelligent compared to the rest of the toilet papers hoarders.

Yes, they did.

But still many people and media think ripple had an ICO and issued xrp.

Ripple needs to raise their voice to clarify their position, Which is an investor of xrp, not the issuer.

One point of clarification: Ripple is not an investor into XRP, they simply own a lot of it. To say they “invest” in XRP would make it seem like they expect it to increase in value, which could make XRP seem like a security in the eyes of the public (and regulators).

This is also why you never hear Brad telling the public to invest in XRP. That would make it seem like a security. If you’re correcting people online, it’s important to keep that in mind.

Your thinking process is same as the media that writes false information.

Let's say, someone invented a bottle opener and a company saw a huge potential in it and bought most of bottle opener from the inventor.

This case, even if the company market and sell the bottle opener, nobody would consider bottle openers as the company's security.

Strangely, when we replace the bottle openers to digital asset, people tend to confuse it as the company's security. Just like you did.

Ripple invested in xrp (bottle opener), the xrp( bottle opener) is not the company's security, but an investment and marketed product.

The misunderstanding is suppressing Ripple from marketing xrp freely on the market, hurting ripple's business model.

The problem is, legal jurisprudence would ask is Ripple Labs, Inc. in the care, custody and control of XRP? I'm not sure I have enough evidence yet to say yes or no, but it doesn't really matter what my opinion is or yours, because I and you would be making an opinion reserved for a Judge and/or jury, or by a regulatory commission, or via case law, or state or federal statutes, to decide upon.

I see the approach you're trying to make with this analogy, but it's not a good one. Is the implied warranty of a bottle opener to make someone an ROI or to simply be used as a tool to open a bottle so you can drink from it?

Sorry, no does not make any sense.

The fact is the same people created Ripple the company and XRP the cryptocurrency. Ripple did not buy the bottle openers/XRP

no one in Ripple denies that.

please have another go, even Brad’s oil analogy was better and that didn’t work that well.

When they created xrp, it was before ripple was created.

The inventors, Jed is fired from ripple, and David gave up all of his xrp that he received as the inventor. (David later purchased xrp with his own money on the market. Which is a very small amount of xrp compared to the billions of xrp he had)

So, none of the inventors who work in ripple now are major stake holder of xrp.

Why don't you try giving your own analogy? If you are so confident with your knowledge?
