Been sometime since I used Gatehub :newblush: shhhhhh. Hope what I can help with is accurate.

In gatehub you should have a hosted wallet (My Wallet) and you need to create a Ripple wallet (if you don't have one yet listed there)

'My Wallet' (hosted) is not an actual account on RCL, and will not have a secret key assigned to it. This is gatehub's pool of funds that you have access to. You will not be able to trade off this hosted wallet.

Once you create a Ripple wallet. You have an actual account on RCL. You can copy out the secret key for safe keeping. (this is however not considered a "cold wallet")

You could transfer your USD on your hosted wallet (My Wallet) to your Ripple wallet. From there, access the 'Exchange' tab on the left to buy XRP with your USD.

Hope that helps.

@K1Venom

If your USD are in your hosted wallet:

From the home screen select the hosted wallet OR click wallet on the side left bar than Hosted.

Click send payment (near top left). Enter the ripple public address of the receiving wallet, amount, confirm.

To send USD directly from bank to ripple wallet

From your home screen select the ripple wallet OR click wallet on the side left bar and then ripple wallet

Click deposit/ receive on the center bottom

Choose Bank, follow info.

Make sure you have Gatehub.USD trusted, if not Gatehub makes the option easy- click ripple wallet its one of the options on the top (GateHub EUR is the other).

Note there are other ways of doing this, but this should be the easiest
