Gatehub did verify my email n mobile number when I signed up. I guess my account has not yet been fully kyc Ed as i just submitted my id n residential proof few hours ago, hopefully this auto funding programme is still available now.

Dunno if any new gatehub user received the bonus xrp so far?

Welcome, @cy2017. You can always use Bithomp's activation tool: https://bithomp.com/activation/

If none of this works, let me know and I'll send you some XRP to get you started.

@cy2017 sent you 30xrp.

Many tks Ripplerm!!! Alr received the 30xrp.

I hv one more question now. Gatehub requires 50xrp to activate ripple wallet. Now I have 30xrp, so is my ripple wallet considered fully activated or I have to transfer 20xrp more to fully activate it?

idk why Gatehub are not funding wallets again. I can understand they don't fund non kyc wallets or wallets only verified with email / phone. But when you start the kyc procedure they should display a message like: "you will receive xx xrp when your kyc approval is done" could be an xrp bonus like Enej mentioned (and also RL could help them a little) it's counterproductive as it is. But I guess it's only temporary, Enej will probably reply on this thread.

@cy2017  - Please read this one -

And here is for you about reserves.

On 1/18/2017 at 10:34 PM, winthan said:

Reserves Requirements
----------
The user must fund in XRP wallet to activate.

Base Wallet Activation = 20 XRP
(All active Wallet must hold least 20 XRP for base account activation in XRP wallet)

Asset Trust Line with Gateway or Ripple Address = 5 XRP
(Automatically reserve 5 XRP at trusting a gateway for trading/exchange for an asset)

An Offer (Sell/Buy) On Open Order = 5 XRP
(Automatically reserve 5 XRP at adding an offer on RCL)

The reserves are to protect the shared global ledger from growing excessively large as the result of spam or malicious usage. The goal is to constrain the growth of the ledger to match the improvements in technology so that a current commodity-level machine can always fit the current ledger.

To submit transactions, an address must hold the least amount of XRP in the shared global ledger. The user cannot send this reserved XRP to other addresses. And he must have enough balance of XRP at offering offer at open order.

Theoretically, you have enough (20 XRP reserve + 5 XRP per trust line) (correct me if I'm wrong)

But I think to use Gatehub you actually need at least 50 XRP, here is the message on a newly created Gatehub account:

Disabled wallet

You need at least 50 XRP to start using it

I see. Tks for explanation Namini. Ripplechart looks very useful.

Btw, I did have that "disable wallet needs 50xrp to start" message before i received 30xrp. But no more now. My gateways r still pending for approval. will see how it goes.

Hi @cy2017, we just sent you another 21 XRP so you have 50.999 XRP available now.

As @namini pointed out, you need 20 XRP at all times + 5 XRP for each trustline + 5 XRP for each open order.

You had 29.999 XRP and two trustlines (EUR and USD). This means you should have at least 30 XRP (20+2x5) reserve in order to use the ripple wallet. With additional 21 XRP you are good to go.

We had to make minor adjustment to our funding service as people started abusing it. Originally we funded all accounts with a verified telephone number. The problem was that our system allowed for 5 accounts with the same phone number. That has not changed but we will now only fund the first account with the same phone number (other 4 accounts will not be funded anymore).

Hopefully this change will solve the problem so we can leave the funding service active without interruptions.
