TaylorWarden
English: https://www.fintrac-canafe.gc.ca/intel/operation/casino-eng French: https://www.fintrac-canafe.gc.ca/intel/operation/casino-fra Quote IVTS involves dealers who facilitate the transfer of value to a third party in another jurisdiction without having to physically move it. This may have effects on XRP-related casino websites as XRP could be defined as an Informal Value Transfer System (IVTS) in the eyes of FINTRAC. Please discuss. XRPonTheIronThrone
Its no different with any crypto...borderless. You can get paid out from offshore casinos in bitcoin (Bovada). In Macau, the Chinese walk into a rolex store on the casino floor, buy a rolex with a card and return it for cash forgoing currency controls. There are always ways. FlexyRabbit
I read the comments. Yes, cryptocurrency has entered online casinos for a long time. But in general, the gaming industry is developing systematically. My friend lives in Canada. It seems that this country has little to do with casinos. But in fact in Canada, online casino industry trends have changed a lot lately. It's interesting to read about it.

When BTC was hovering around 34$CAD, I hit an 83 BTC jackpot on the online casino Dragon's Tale. I then raised that amount through a system to 110 BTC. I really do look back on that time and hate myself for not storing some 10-25 odd BTC in a paperwallet instead of trying out different wallet providers that ended up getting hacked. I live in Canada as well. I keep this section of the forums up-to-date on FINTRAC news because I am a Canadian and operate a Ripple Gateway in Canada (an have been since 2014). I mostly got interested in the Ripple Consensus Ledger (now more commonly called the XRP Ledger but I prefer this 'old' terminology) because I was interested in building a Real Cash Economy Game on the RCL. If the offical Ripple forums were still up, you could read about my stupid old ideas for a Proof-of-Concept, Ripple-based Real Cash Economy Game. I remember at one time, one of those related threads had more than 16K views many years ago, so there has been some interest in an RCL + Proof-of-Concept Game. An RCE Game on the RCL would pretty much just be a different kind of casino however. I may re-write a thread on this topic in the technical discussions forum if I get the info that I wanted to share all channeled into a respectable but critical view of the RCL Ecosystem. Last, more recently I was playing on bitstarz online casino at the tail end of this August and won the equivalent of 1900$CAD in BTC by only risking about 60$CAD in BTC. I don't gamble very often anymore because it has lost its luster to me but that was certainly a good month.

Hello! Thank you for your comment. It is very interesting to know about your experience. If you find more information, I would be grateful! Thanks!
