Perhaps someone is testing the capabilities of the XRPL now Lightning network appears to suck. Suspicious in a bad way or something we should applaude?

7213/589 = 12.24  Obviously this means XRP will be $589 on Christmas Eve.

Why is it odd? To pay/ settle any other asset other than XRP, you require trustlines. 
 

looking at the scale and amounts, looks like some large final stage testing before production. Might this be sologenic?

Normally,  all accounts create trust line to the issue account,  there only need one issue account for one currency,  in this case,  these accounts create BTC trust line to each other. 

For test ? why not on the test net ?
