I'd like to see something concrete... "the last fully validated ledger" is already over 1 GiB without inner nodes, if this refers to ledger state. Do you mean only the transaction trie? Or how should a "validation" look like in this case?

I see anything that improves interoperability as a good thing. In this case, you'd be making it easier for smart contracts, which will underpin stock trades, derivatives, etc, to operate on their ledger of choice (Ethereum, cardano, hedera, whatever) and still take advantage of XRPL for settlement.

I agree here (again :)) with @Sukrim: I'd like to see something concrete. We need to unterstand a current issue that needs to be solved. As he said "...that's not currently possible". Without a specific issue we could tend to just implement a solution for a problem that doens't really exist.
