Yes and no. The US is certainly not going to look across the pond thinking “we’ll just do whatever the Brits do”... but equally it would seem unlikely one of the worlds most important financial centres is going to be significantly out of step with the others. peanut56
My biggest fear is that the U.S. will try to squash out xrp in order to maintain a weaponized dollar. At the same time 2020 is an election year so _________ who knows. ZzZerper
Jimmythemeek
There appears to be something going on behind the scenes. They (US) can not and will not leave a project like (Ripple XRP) up in the air. There is no way they will let China control cryptocurrency knowing this is the future of world finances. We all know it's a race the US can not afford to lose. MoonRockets and Sharkey

peanut56
xrp could replace the U.S. dollar as a source for international liquidity that was established at the end of world war II. It could be more difficult for the U.S. to freeze international transfers. I don't think XRP is a threat to the U.S. dollar I think XRP could be a threat to the U.S. utilizing the dollar to apply international pressure to get what is wants. Currently the U.S. is suppressing economies, such as Iran and Russia, by weaponizing the dollar. XRP or any other digital asset would allow some of the pressure to be circumvented.
