For the sake of full disclosure, there's a fair amount of hopium in those two charts.   Personally I don't have much faith in that xrp/btc setup and would bet that it'll end up breaking downwards.  xrp/usd setup looks much more promising, but it needs to retest the bottom (30s) before it turns into something meaningful.  A breakdown in xrp/btc could actually help drive forward the pattern in xrp/usd.

And lastly - all of this could also be nothing more than confirmation bias;  if you look at first half of 2019 xrp/usd, a similar pattern emerges but then breaks down completely.  It is feasible that our current setup could lead to the same outcome.

Thanks for the honorable mention

Dose of hopium Bronze Edition:

I'm going to reveal some of the fun facts, celebrating my Bronze status,

1. I got banned by mod for saying "bust a n*t", i saw another forumer used this phrase and i think this is a funny phrase without understanding the meaning behind it, English is not my native language so my English is still weak, of course after Google the meaning, the meaning is not what i expected it to be, source = https://www.xrpchat.com/topic/30042-epic-pennant-on-btc-chart/?do=findComment&comment=863111

2. I'm not from Nigeria

Daily dose of Bronze Hopium:

Believe it or not, the "rotating profits" methodology is real, as we're all aware Cardano has pumped very hard recently, and now look at the 7-day return of Cardano, it is minus 22%, it is very clear profits are taken, and it will rotate into any un-pumped coins.

Each coin will have their turn of hard pump then crash to take profits, just a matter of time before it is XRP's turn, the market is still in speculative mode, if you think XRP will just stay here, you're right, until you're not.

Remember, the run has only just started, take a closer look at 30-day return, only Cardano and Binance mooned, the same goes to Quarter-return, but this time will add Polkadot to the list.

Im not sure about you, but even at this point, my portfolio is already deep in the green just like my frog skin, i cant imagine how my portfolio value will look like after the full blown bull run, i'm used to the stagnant, forever-in-red bear market, but im not used to seeing green, in fact i'm overwhelmed by the money i already made as of now. When people say bull run is harder on the psychology compared to bear market, they're right. That's why, you need to have a proper plan in bull run, otherwise you will still lose money in bull run and that will be a disgrace to your family.

Buckle up bois. The longer the base, the higher the space, i still remembered back in the day EOS chart is similar to XRP, it is only declining, bleeding non-stop from the ICO peak, i got it at the bottom of 0.50c, then it exploded to 22 USD at the end. XRP is basically a super-saiyan pressure cooker now.

Well done @Hopium for keeping the spirits up and your bronze status

DOT and ADA seem to take it in turns, and if this is a thing it would perhaps be possible to ride one and then swap and ride the other and then swap back.

It is interesting how many videos there are comparing DOT, ADA and ETH(2) - but never is FLR mentioned, no doubt because it is not for sale yet.  It is a big hole since FLR has some advantages over all of them and might be a market beater to outmatch them all......we still do not know how well FLR will be received in the markets

Another note of optimism, I do broad brush strokes not detail.  What I am noticing about the SEC case is that the stuff produced by Ripples lawyers is coming out in simple language with a well focused and consistent narrative.  This is to my eyes the signature of well rehearsed and thought out strategies and a winning case , whilst the stuff coming out from SEC seems to be dodging bullets, changing goalposts and rewriting the script, this to my eyes if the signature of a losing hand.  I am feeling comfortable with my XRP holdings, even whilst other coins are doing so much better.  My ADA keeps me substantially in the green, My FLR + XRP looks like a big stake in a future technology that will change the world of commerce forever.

Very interesting video, I missed seeing it for two days, watched it just now.  looks like BG and CL motion to dismiss have a good chance. (I am not condoning BG behaviour, which is irrelevant to outcome)

this lawyer guy is the new breed of hopium supplies, every time i see his video, my hopium gas changed color, the room is filled with green neon, his beard grown more to resemble Jesus's beard, and there's a halo on his head, if you look closer at the halo, the halo is formed with letters:

Brad is just sayin, what I was saying since day 1 of SEC allegations, that CEX's were doing it for their own gridy reasons. Despite that SEC did a low blow, CEX's started punching man on the ground. This is huge. This means that by 2025 DEXs are a very main priority, this is the only way to protect retailers from centralised manipulation.

That’s one helluva return you got on EOS! With a moonshot in your pocket, you must feel very green!

Also, I wanna reiterate the point you brought up about having a plan and sticking to it. Too many people lose money in bull runs because they never cash out! Don’t try to call the top, just cash out when you’re significantly green. I made that mistake when XRP mooned and didn’t sell! Greedy and naive me! Never again, I already took profits in ETH and BTC and it felt amazing, but nowhere near as amazing as I would have felt had I cashed out when XRP mooned! Lesson learned and I hope other people heed these words of advice that many other members have also pointed out before it’s too late and they miss the profit wagon.

Flare is barely on the radar of people in this forum. I think when it comes onto the scene a whole lot of people are gonna be wondering why they didn’t pay attention sooner.

same here, i didnt took profits back in 2017 because my stash is too small, even if it mooned already, yes the money is still quite big to me, but nowhere near life  changing, so i continued to hold, expecting it to hit greater heights, but it didnt end well, you know the rest.

all of coins, XRP and EOS and some others, didnt cash out at their peak, so im left holding the bag for few years till now.

one thing is, since i bought EOS at very bottom, during all these years of bear market, it is the only ONE coin that has been green forever, the rest has been forever red until recently

yeah we need plans, i clearly believe $10 is not the top, but i'm willing to cash out 88% at that price, because it is considered life changing money at that point after i've been buying for the past few years in bear market, life changing enough to not work anymore, but not enough to live a luxurious life and spend big every day. A small part of me still disagree to sell at such an early price of $10, but i will follow it no matter what

will sell another 8% when it hits 100, 88% divide by 10 = 8%, $10 multiply by 10 = $100, so cashing out at $100 using 8%, has the same amount of return as cashing out at $10 using 88%, so it is like cashing out 2 times for the same big gains, that's my plan

lastly, always reserve some % just in case it mooned to hopium levels such as $589 and $1000 and $35,000

want a general rule of thumb? first major sell off should be at the top extension of Fibo, which is between 10 to 15 dollars, i picked 10 for a round number and psychological barrier

Looks like you can legitimately change your avatar name from Hopium to Clownium!

EDIT: needless to say, I have always derived more laughter from your posts than hopium!
