You were so sure about 1 USD by year-end. Seems you start to worry a bit about your bold statements now?

I am sure about 1 USD as such, end of year or not does not bother me as much as it bothers you. Dates are just hopium for realusts to say: I told you 🤪

I keep saying that we are exactly matching BTC movements.  And many reply with “oh yeah? Then why has BTC risen and we haven’t?”

The reason is in the two images of the same graph below.

Although we have been exactly mapping BTC movements (mostly,) there are multiple points along the way where we momentarily don’t follow upwards.  That yellow gap is one.  Sometimes that rise is then suddenly recovered by us with a couple of large green candles to bring us back where we were in relation to BTC.  But not always.  And mostly that is because BTC does a drop and we follow that rather than rise THEN drop.

I have two photos here of BTC as a grey line and XRP as candles.  Both are at exact same scale but the second one is shifted XRP upwards (as though we did get the green candles) to align after the drop.  You can see it matches the drop if you do that.

That yellow marked gap is what we missed out on getting because the later drop nuked any chance of belatedly green spiking to catch up.  Multiple occasions like that are why we continue to slip further behind.

Thanks for sharing, Billy !

It's interesting to compare your observations, and Binance's XRP_BTC exchange rate history.

IF we had perfect "lock-step" synchronicity in effect for this pair's trade market, we'd expect its chart to be a flat line over time.

There appears traders whom buy/sell both assets in tandem, but at different weights. Which in the aggregate, with others doing the same, produces the behavior shown in the xrp_btc chart.

I have noticed in the past, sometimes we'll see total decoupling (like during the snapshot), just to keep keeps lively lol.

Ref: https://www.binance.us/en/trade/pro/XRP_BTC (set time to 1H or higher periods for less noise).

Cheers

Maybe you can do something about the post below yours, as he's ignoring you?

This guy is playing some ad hominem game all along.

Lol, I explaining my view, while you not able do that!

Keep healthy conversation and mostly rational, do not do personal atacks, do not use offensive lables and you be happy, as well as rest, do not cry to moderator as your opinion is not the only in the world!

At last, you can block me! And I be gone from your life! And you will continue to spread the word of realists mixed with shades of pessimis!

Happy bloody Monday!

Time to buy more or?

Seems like the only way I can recover my losses now are by trading and I see your predictions throughout have been pretty much spot on.

It depends , I would wait more we may see lower prices.

If BTC broke under 22900$ , to me it's a sign we may see 20k again or even lower but It still can change .

I sold a % of my XRP at 0.575$ yesterday , I'll wait a little more to rebuy
