Yes. ETH was in a similar situation a few months back and it exploded back to where it was supposed to be. XRP has been out of sync with the rest of the crypto market for too long.

I was participating undercover :).  The trolls became too overwhelming while XRP was in the dumps, I figure its safe to come out again.

That's what I just said my initial guess was. While it's a valid trade based on TA and/or asset correlation I'm wondering is if there might be some more fundamental knowledge driving the price.
I don't know, I was just thinking aloud.

Yes, and XRP's market cap used to be on par with ETH's. Now, ETH's market cap is 3 times XRP's. We still potentially have a long way to run.  Lots of catching up to do.

Fundamentals...sure there are fundamentals.   If you consider FLARE, the Bank of America, and more you have a mess load of fundamentals.

Flare did lots of good marketing, Xumm progressed well too. That helped raise awareness. I doubt there is any earth shattering news at play, but hey, if there is we will know soon enough.

Ha!  XRP's market cap use to surpass ETH's.  For a while there we were No. 2 and headhunting for No. 1.

Have you seen how it matched up with BTC (see chart) 

Here is recent ETH_BTC at Binance.us ...
