Charting the course of XRP

I should add, that I was not at all surprised to see settlement in the news, because right now the SEC really need some good PR, and announcing a settlement would go a long way towards making people happy - if it was the kind of settlement that left the door open to allowing companies like ripple to do what they are trying to do - without giving a carte blanche to every scammy rug-pull operation and dodgy coin issuer out there.

Probably because Fox News ran it. It's a bullshit factory.

Yeah - BUT, xrpchat is where people who believe that sort of rubbish hang out. Don't forget that the illuminati are planning a global reset using secret ISO20022 based handshakes to signal the time when xrp will be unveiled as the one true currency. The mainstream media don't want you to know the TRUTH, so obviously when Fox discovers something, ripple have to deny it.

And yet,not a peep on here. A sad day for the community indeed.

Is it possible that your belief about this forum is either slightly or largely incorrect?

I’m continually surprised at the vehemence of those who come on here saying how everyone here is either a fanbois or a moron or both.  Perhaps the lack of response indicates that most here are not so naive as some seem to believe?

Generally when folk make sweeping statements about others beliefs there are at least some  inaccuracies in the statement.

Guys, I plan to switch my alt holdings to either XRP, ETH or something better. Note that already half my holdings are in XRP and the others all in several different coins (except ETH or BTC). In the light of too many shit coins collapsing, I intend to convert everything to just two or three coins. Any suggestions/recommendations? Is it wise to go 100% on XRP or allocate half the crypto portfolio to ETH or something else?

You've been here since 2017, on a forum dedicated to XRP, and now you are asking whether it is a good idea to get more XRP, genius.

Many things are possible. It is possible that BTC will have a big green candle and hit 400k tomorrow. It is possible that someone will post a video to this forum about a conspiracy by the SEC to keep the price of XRP low so they can "fill their bags" ™. It is possible that the evil democrats hired SBF to crash the crypto markets so that Hilary Clinton's even more evil financial puppet master Gensler could take control of all of crypto and steal everyone's money because only J.P.Morgan is allowed to be rich (+ a few select friends). It is possible that someone inside Fox business is a secret IMF world bank spy and put the message out on live TV about a settlement so that they could pump and dump for fun and entertainment. It is possible that Sir Deaton the John will single-handedly win the ripple/SEC case and be appointed CoinMaster General of the FED.

Many things are possible. Some might even happen. Much more bizarre stuff will be posted to this forum.

Don't feed this troll.

I would look at it less of a conspiracy, but the image of a conspiracy created by individuals behaving independently greedy creating the effect of a conspiracy. In other words if the those who fight to get to the top, but can't do so from there own creation then they will behave as humans do in competition. Which means they will cheat and if enough are involved in cheating/manipulating/using competition as cover for competition then such a situation may look like a conspiracy.

As far as settlement, we will not know until official announcements. I would bet on no settlement and pleasantly surprised if there is one. Until then I'm betting on xrp going down due to my bet on stock market, vix index, and lack of regulations in the U.S. that's my bet.

I'm not looking for it, but I believe there were settlement rumors a few months ago that came out of fox news, but I may be wrong.

Haha.. Yes, been holding XRP since 2017. Avg entry at .5 cents. Obviously in lose now. But I continue to hold. Also, from what I have read, I have more reason to trust the people/company behind XRP than anything else. Yet, I purchased few others like HBAR, CRV, LINK, ETC, IOTA, ZCASH, BCH etc. I believe XRP will have its day, one day, LOL. I have only invested what I dont mind losing if it has to be that way. Maybe I am irrational.

Conspiracy is simply collusion or coordinated planning in secret to unlawful/harmful ends. If one doesn't believe this happens and frankly happens often, you are not student of history and have a false understanding of human behavior.

Evil pretty well always begins in secret before it is public and it's our nature to do what is wrong to advance our own interests.

Certainly many wild theories can be dreamed up and are often wrong, but many times there is partial or full truth as well.

However I speak in terms of right and wrong and false and true...those who reject those concepts also reject reality and therefore are blind to everything.

I agree with pterodactyls and yes I do think corruption runs deep and thorough. I guess I was trying to distinguish between speculative corruption from connecting dots due to evolution that lacks collusion, but a result of individual greed resulting in the image of corruption vs collusion and corruption occurring together through a single person, party, or organization.

The above is far from a perfect explanation, but I hope the point is clear.
