Prevent ripple peers join

Recommended Posts

I am running a private ripple network in cloud with 4 nodes, but after a few time, I find many other peers in public network joins. How can I prevent this kind of behavior?

There’s no way, short of using the peer_private and ips_fixed config options, or using your system’s firewall.

I am working on a patch which I hope will be included in the 1.4 release which should allow you to do this more easily without having to resort to tricks like those described above.
