— that’s mine 😉

Haha but there is no definitive wall now (like there was previously) between xrapid and xcurrent thanks to the upgraded system :)

Ripple be sneaking in through the back door

This press release has NOTHING to do with Ripple.

Agreed.  This is complete hyperbole.

The twitter comment is using reference material related to Ripple from January of 2018 (https://www.credit-agricole.com/en/news-channels/the-channels/newsflash/Credit-Agricole-experimenting-with-Ripple-blockchain-money-transfer-technology) that specifically is a trial on an employee option related to their paycheck payments and attempt to extend that bit of info to the recent partnership announcement between Santander UK and Credit Agricole related to cross-border trade (https://www.santander.co.uk/uk/infodetail?p_p_id=W000_hidden_WAR_W000_hiddenportlet&p_p_lifecycle=1&p_p_state=normal&p_p_mode=view&p_p_col_id=column-2&p_p_col_pos=1&p_p_col_count=3&_W000_hidden_WAR_W000_hiddenportlet_javax.portlet.action=hiddenAction&_W000_hidden_WAR_W000_hiddenportlet_base.portlet.view=ILBDInitialView&_W000_hidden_WAR_W000_hiddenportlet_cid=1324584651586&_W000_hidden_WAR_W000_hiddenportlet_tipo=SANContent).

This is nothing but hot air.  If any of us looks hard enough we can probably find some kind of "relationship" tied back to Ripple for just about any number of companies through either an employee / former employee or an article referencing another company or partnership to make these kinds of connections.  It all means nothing until it's an MGI-like announcement that speaks exclusively to a partnership or product / initiative that will use Ripple-based products and/or XRP.

No one said otherwise, the title of the thread is pretty clear: Credit Agricole & Santander partner up, both Ripple partners.

Still interesting in my opinion.

Edit: here are some french links about it, posted few hours ago:

Ripple banks working together .... one happy family :drinks: being able to leverage DLT (using Xcurrent 4.0) and its native digital asset XRP..... nice ... :)
