VahV
Hi Xrp family, I was a victim of the Bitsane scam. The website disappeared and I lost all of my investments ~ 4700 XRP. This was my only crypto investment. Friends, I am lost, please give me an advice how and what should I do? Whats my next step? Is there actually something that I can do? Please advise! jlr and Cesar1810

ripplemaniac
Why didnt you use a cold wallet after you bought it? I will never understand why people keep their crypto on exchanges..... I wish you get your xrp back somehow...but this is going to be a loooong process and the chances are low....im really sorry for you. peanut56
I am sorry to hear that. I wish there was an easy way for people to set up and use a cold storage device. I have two. By the time I went to set up the second one I was scratching my head again, stressed out , and trying to make sure I did it right. As I do not know were you country of residence is. If you choose to buy back in please consider cold storage, or at the least an insured exchange. Those include bitstamp, coinbase, gemini, uphold, kraken, and others. I hope that it works out as from what I have read the Authorities have been notified about bitsane prior to this incidence. I happen to be in a position that if the exchange I use goes scam central I'm a short distance from their office, so as long as I know who they are I can track them down. First thing to do is file a local police report. It might sound mundane, but it puts your details on record. Then join together with fellow Bitsane users online. I would assume there must be a lawyer amongst the Bitsane crowd that lays out some initial free groundwork moving forward.
Guest
Btw, 'just thinking ahead', the next issue will be people with multiple passwords who incorrectly type the password on the wrong site. Where does that error password message go?

The people who did it will get caught and they will work on their narcissistic personality disorders with the walls of prison. Trendkill

zenkert
Hey @VahV you are not the first one and not the last one to encounter this. Obviously you are newbie. And you got burned on rule number one. The Mantra for every investor in DA. - Do not keep your assets in a exchange. Keep em safe in your wallet. Hopefully you might get them XRP back. A scam exchange is hard to track. Maybe contact this group of good people.https://xrpforensics.org/ Edited July 3, 2019 by zenkert
