Ripple has in the past stated that they don't promote XRP as an investment right?

Yes they have said in days gone by that because the institutions were wary of this new crypto thing they did not emphasise or perhaps even mention XRP.  Targeted messages for the particular audience.

So what changed?

Many things.  An increasing institutional acceptance that digital assets aren’t going away and in fact represent the new gold rush.  An increasing worldwide acknowledgement, and perhaps acceptance, and finally engagement by regulators.  The general consensus (see what I did there?  :) ) on the whole crytospace.

And what do they tell those big players to convince them to invest while the market is so volatile right now?

That they can save money.   Perhaps you are thinking they are solely seeking investment in XRP...  they are not.  They are seeking institutional usage of XRP.  Investment will follow organically later.

Additionally the volatility of the market does not affect the XRapid use case.  It’s no hindrance at all.  The only thing that effects the use case is availability of corridors and availability of sufficient liquidity in that corridor.  They are working hard to get both going strong.  The actual usage of XRP is what will supercharge the investment sales and simultaneously diminish the volatility.

Guys, again, don't want to p...s on the parade, but this is not an operative office, it's just a company with adress by a legal consultant created possibly for fiscal or whatever other reason.

If you want to open an office and do business in CH showing the muscles you choose another legal form, not GmbH (ltd), but AG (share company) and you give it the proper amount of capital, not CHF 20'000 (approx same in USD).
