Huh?   Now you are really confusing me.  I’m not saying anything about Libra.  Are you drunk?

The hostility and regulatory concerns to Libra will delay the project significantly.  IMO a 2020 launch is extremely  otpimistic

meanwhile XRapid adoption is getting off the blocks

That's just a guess from galgitron, no proof it's xrapid related..

Yes that is true, but spokes people for Ripple have said that XRapid is active and growing rapidly, and this is the obvious metric to watch and it confirms what the execs from Ripple are telling us.  So I think your scepticism is over played.  It is the best thing we have got and in the circumstances it is worth putting some trust in it, at least until we have something even more closely tied to the XRapid usage data.

Unlike Bitcoin, Libra’s value is tied to government-issued currency like the dollar—specifically to “a market-value basket of several trusted currencies,” says Wired. That’s one of several ways that Libra will try to avoid the weird, scammy, gambling vibe of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. This isn’t a coin that you buy because you think it will grow 100 times as valuable. It’s more like exchanging a dollar for a Euro.
