bones
Just received this email from BTC Markets (Australia). Quote We’re making contact to inform you of some important changes to our fee schedule. From Monday 3rd of June, the following changes to Bitcoin (BTC) and XRP withdrawal fees will take effect: Bitcoin (BTC) withdrawal fees will increase from 0.0001 BTC to 0.0003 BTC XRP withdrawal fees will decrease from 0.15 XRP to 0.01 XRP These changes are being made to reflect current network demand, and to ensure that all withdrawals are processed as quickly and efficiently as possible. *emphasis added NB: Significant decrease in XRP withdrawal fees and increase in BTC fees. SilverSailor
Interesting, more demand for Bitcoin evidently, would this indicate a slower demand for XRP? I recall transaction fees going up for XRP x-fers during the Christmas/New Year run to $3+

There has not been, and is not currently, any need for a fee ramp up in xrp transfers. So no... it doesn’t mean a slower demand for XRP.

Great info Tiny...BTW my demand comment was not FUD, just seemed to me XRP demand MUST be up, not waning, so counter intuitive to business to lower XRP fees, to my mind, but good for the Aussies! bones
