Hope they stop by and present it to us. We could get from the community about the source and code. I suspect they are someone already here as they mention XRPChat for wallet activation or Bithomp, support is directed to this forum as is discussion threads. They also say the wallet will be open sourced. Sapitoka

I´m here for almost 4 years and if I had to create a cold wallet now I would struggle.. We should do something about it. Back it the day we did that for Ripple Trade.. Now, we don´t even have a wallet... so nothing to even do tutorials around.. Its amazing. Mercury

Well if we can 100% verify and majority agree that the cold wallet by ripply is safe it wont be hard to do a basic vid or instruction sheet on how to create one. Some graphics, go to site, generate, done. Sapitoka

In fact I just threw together a quick PDF https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B_tXwX8NHQuBcXI3bnU5ZlBBaFE/view?usp=sharing If someone wants to proof it I can submit it to the forum The last section was lifted directly from ripply, I doubt they would mind as the steps are how to use their service Edited March 6, 2017 by Mercury added ripply info Sapitoka
cmbartley
Am I correct that ripply uses SHA1? Is this a problem? https://www.google.com/amp/www.recode.net/platform/amp/2017/2/23/14715570/google-researchers-crack-internet-security-tool-sha1-encryption

Guest
The ripply Android wallet seems to work OK — I sent a few XRPs to mine and they were still there last time I looked. At today's price, should be enough to buy a coffee. I don't know enough about Android to say how safe my secret key is. For instance, could someone hack into my 'phone, copy one of ripply's files, discover the 4-letter PIN by brute-force on their own computer and then hack into my 'phone again to extract my key pair? And can anyone recommend a coffee shop that accepts XRP?
