cmbartley
Why aren't the Coincheck XRP markets on Ripple Charts? https://ripple.com/xrp-portal/xrp-resources/coincheck-lists-xrp-on-its-digital-asset-exchange/
winthan
Yes, I don't see on the lists - https://data.ripple.com/v2/gateways, and some of scam/dead gateways are there on Ripple Data.

Popular Post warpaul
An update on Coincheck: Historically, Coincheck has not publicly reported XRP volume, so they are considered a private OTC brokerage, similar to Coinbase (not GDAX) and Unocoin. Yesterday, we received a report from Coincheck that they had published an API endpoint for us to start harvesting: https://coincheck.com/exchange/candle_rates?limit=300&market=coincheck&pair=xrp_jpy&unit=300&v2=true The data from their API lined up with their verbal report, so we published it to Ripple Charts yesterday afternoon. Last night, we received a message from Coincheck that they discovered a bug in their API, which is reporting inaccurate volume data. This morning, we temporarily removed Coincheck from Ripple Charts until they correct the issue. Based on their publicly reported BTC volume, we are optimistic that Coincheck will serve as a great source of XRP liquidity in Japan. cmbartley, Tim, Live4xrp and 8 others

Can't say this is the biggest exchange #272 for bitcoin, or am I missing something? https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/bitcoin/#markets
Haraldo
Hi @warpaul i am interested in where the main price feed originates from in terms of the price of XRP (similar to interbank feed for FX). If the API is not working and reporting volume is it also controlling the price feed? How would they know what price to sell XRP at?
